"𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫."
This is a Chinese proverb & I reckon it has a good dollop of truth in it!
In terms of muscle memory, smiling informs the body & mind of our mood.
Typically our 'resting face' displays one of 3 emotions - anger, sadness or disgust - yikes lol! 😃
Try smiling when you don't 'need' to & there's nobody there,
(not like a crazy person so your face aches lol, just consciously turn the corners of your mouth upwards because that's literally going in the right direction).
Over time, this quite literally makes you happier & more positive. 😁
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤....
Do you know what your lips are doing...?! 🤣 👄
We can hold a tremendous amount of tension in our lips throughout the day!
Since studying a bit of Chinese face reading (fascinating stuff!) I've realised how much I do this even subtly!
Notice this, let them relax & you will become a more relaxed person & this will contribute to that smile! hashtag#doublebonus
Hope you've enjoyed this share (I have!) & would love to hear what you notice.
This golden smile on a stick is courtesy of my daughter's recent birthday party...
although I am considering keeping it by my bed just so I can freak Dave out first thing in the morning! 🤣
Good Vibes, Amanda G 💫
