In The Stretch Zone?

Updated: Sep 20, 2022

A positive reminder here for anyone who finds themselves out of their comfort zone!

Hopefully you are in the Stretch Zone rather than the Panic Zone but there can be a fine line there at times.

Whichever it is, remember to Congratulate yourself!

A lot of people spend most of their lives in the Comfort zone.

By the end of life though (and this has been recorded), most regret the things they didn’t do.

There are differing degrees of being in the stretch zone but one thing remains sure, it is the same feeling for all of us.

It doesn’t matter whether it is leaving the house for the first time in a while after depression, going to a networking meeting, having an honest conversation, leaving a partner, becoming a manager or scaling your business to a new level….it’s all the same feeling and it is commendable!

Daring to dip your toe over the line outside the comfort zone should be celebrated.

It is certainly where the magic happens!

It is personal GROWTH!

You are saying YES to life and to challenge!

You are saying NO to regrets and limitations!

You are believing in yourself (even if you don’t feel that way!) because you are choosing to take the action. That demonstrates belief or faith.

You are choosing COURAGE! Doing things when we are AFRAID is far bigger than doing things just because you want to. Applaud yourself!!

I have previously overlooked my levels of courage and consistently being prepared to change and get out of my comfort zone. I used to just want the feeling of confidence.

I only tend to feel that way when I have done things repeatedly and have seen the evidence and the results. That's why it feels risky, that's why we have to take a leap of faith!

To have confidence, we have to be prepared to take action.

I never used to have enough faith, I do now, and I value courage.

I also have a core feeling of self-esteem, so even when I feel terrified, I can still accept and appreciate myself.

There is something radically freeing about being able to accept your flaws and there’s something even better about being able to work on them to improve and master yourself.

Every effort you make to improve yourself or to learn is deserving of high praise. Give yourself a pat on the back at the very least and smile, be proud!

Good Vibes, Amanda G
